One of the things I’ve learned as an entrepreneur is that it’s so important to keep your company fresh, current and aligned with your bigger picture.

Last year was amazing for me. I moved to Los Angeles, started a consultancy and took over Ladies Who Launch in LA and Orange County. That was huge, but it gave me an education in change management and entrepreneurial expansion that I’ll not soon forget! I also made the leap back to grad school to complete a Master’s degree in Media Psychology.

Fast forward one year later, and I’m a fair way through my degree and more established in my business. This year has changed me a great deal and the way I look at the world, as well as how I want to work in it.

New media is changing social culture at unprecedented speed. I continue to want to be a part of that evolution, but my approach has evolved to a new level. Inspired by recent studies that show a declining level of life satisfaction for women since the early 1970’s, I really want to focus on women’s issues, and provide tools for increasing perceived happiness levels through entrepreneurship, personal leadership and strength-focused living. My goal is to combine the feminine way of doing business with positive psychology methods and current research in strength and talent management to communicate, educate and inspire women to take a different approach to managing their work and life.
